Dr. Dilhani Uswatte (AL '09) Joins NAGB

Dr. Dilhani Uswatte (AL '09) is the latest Milken Educator to be appointed to the National Assessment Governing Board, which oversees the country’s only ongoing, nationally representative assessment of student achievement. She joins fellow Milken Educators Nardi Routten (FL '14) and Jon Pickinpaugh (NE '17), who were appointed to the board in October 2022. The 26-member Governing Board is responsible for deciding which subjects NAEP assesses, determining assessment content, setting achievement levels that describe student performance, and pursuing new ways to make NAEP results useful and meaningful to the public.
