Dr. Dilhani Uswatte (AL '09) Named Principal of the Year

The National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) has named Dr. Dilhani Uswatte (AL '09) Alabama's National Distinguished Principal of the Year. In what might have felt like a flashback to her Milken Award notification, "Dr. Dil" learned of the honor at a surprise schoolwide gathering at Rocky Ridge Elementary School in Hoover, where she serves as principal. The National Distinguished Principal program honors outstanding elementary and middle-level principals.
