Alex Briasco-Brin (ME '05) was designated as a Distinguished Educator of the State of Maine for the 2011-12 school year. He has temporarily left the classroom to help the Department of Education put together an Open Education Resource for the Maine Learning Technology Initiative (the 1-to-1 laptop program).
