Memoriam  All Memoriams

Lorenzo Gonzales (NM ’97) passed away at age 75 on July 30, 2023. Most recently, the master teacher worked as a professional staff developer with the Northern New Mexico Math and Science Academy and Los Alamos National Laboratory. At the time of his Milken Award, Lorenzo taught science Cuba High School, where he was known as a technology innovator in an impoverished community, using computers to help level the playing field for his students.
