Frank Miracola (MI '94) died on Friday, October 15, 2010. Frank was an active participant and leader in the Michigan Educator Network, even from his hospital bed during his long battle with cancer. As a lauded elementary school teacher, Miracola founded the International Key Pals project, an ongoing collaborative classroom project where students correspond with other students around the world about differences in culture, holiday customs and projects centered around math and science.
