Proud students surround fourth-grade teacher Silvia Miranda at her surprise Milken Educator Award notification. An experienced bilingual educator, Miranda prepares students for the district’s Spanish spelling bee, launched a lunchtime Bananagrams tournament, and organized the Mesa Science Fair.
