Silvia Miranda Joins NM Milken Educators

 

 

New Mexico Secretary of Education Christopher Ruszkowski congratulates fourth-grade teacher Silvia Miranda on her Milken Educator Award. "You really are a phenomenal teacher," he tells her. "It shows in the way your students feel about you, the way other teachers respect you, the way you've become a humble servant leader, and in your student outcomes." Miranda's students show more than two years of growth in a single year.
