Port Allen's Jessica Major Named Louisiana Milken Educator

 

 

When Milken Family Foundation Chairman and Co-Founder Lowell Milken takes the microphone, he turns the topic to the importance of good educators and tees up the actual reason for the day's event. "Teachers and principals have a responsibility every single day to ensure that you are prepared," he tells the students. "You’re showing enormous academic growth in this school, so I understand you have many good teachers here."
