Science department head Nick Williams can't believe his ears: Did Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, really just name him a California 2015-16 Milken Educator Award winner? Yes, it's true — and Milken has a huge $25,000 check with Williams's name on it to prove it.
