Meghan Stubbs Receives 2023-24 ME Milken Award

It's a big morning at Hancock County Technical Center in Ellsworth: Maine Education Commissioner Pender Makin is visiting for a big assembly to celebrate the school's signature career and technical education (CTE) programs. Is there another reason for the celebration? All becomes clear when Commissioner Makin introduces Greg Gallagher, senior program director for the Milken Educator Awards, who names CTE teacher Meghan Stubbs the recipient of a 2023-24 Milken Award and $25,000.
