Megan Eilers Receives AK Milken Educator Award

Everyone at Hutchison High School is gathered in the gym for a visit from Fairbanks North Star Borough School District Superintendent Dr. Luke Meinert. What's the occasion? When a special guest takes the microphone, the morning assembly turns into a surprise one outstanding educator will remember forever. Representing the Milken Family Foundation, National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Joshua Barnett presents health occupations teacher Megan Eilers with the sole 2023-24 Alaska $25,000 Milken Educator Award.
