Jessica Karll has a talent for developing effective and immersive teaching techniques that especially benefit at-risk and challenged students. As a result of Jessica's instruction and leadership, third graders at Discovery Ridge test highest among schools in their area and routinely achieve more than a year’s growth in core subjects.
In this photo: Jessica has wanted to be a teacher since she was six years old. Judging by the excited high fives she receives from students as she walks up to accept her award, she found her life's calling.
