Kimberly Alexander Carlo Receives NY Milken Award

 

An elated Kimberly Alexander Carlo receives high fives from her students in the classroom after her surprise Milken Educator Award notification. Through her involvement with Lewiston-Porter Middle School's CREW committee, Kimberly helps build social-emotional wellness into each day, ensuring each student is personally and academically supported. She consistently seeks out ways to further instructional excellence at Lew-Port as a member of the American Educational Research Association, the New York State Master Teacher Program and the Science Teachers Association. Kimberly presented at a statewide conference on research-supported instructional practices and participates in guest speaking opportunities and panel presentations at Niagara University, her alma mater.
