Jonathan Cadena (AZ '17) | Desert View High School | Tucson, AZ | Jan 18, 2018With a crowd of dignitaries in attendance, Desert View High School is holding one of its "town meetings," reporting on test scores and other events. But there's another reason for the gathering ... and it involves a big surprise for one outstanding educator. When special guest Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, names science teacher Jonathan Cadena the winner of Arizona's 2017-18 Milken Educator Award and $25,000, the teacher's career is changed forever.
