How much is the cash prize for the teacher who is about to receive Maryland's Milken Educator Award? One digit at a time, students hold up cards representing the amount. When the last zero appears courtesy of Dr. Darla Strouse, executive director of partnerships and recognition for the Maryland State Department of Education, the room gives a collective gasp: That's $25,000!
