Chad Downs, You're a Milken Educator

 

 

When it's Chad Downs' turn to speak, he focuses his remarks on his colleagues. "This Award comes [from] me listening to every teacher in here and collecting the gems they provide," he says. "We talk a lot about effective teachers. At Ann Arbor Open we know that an effective teacher is a creative teacher. You're looking at a lot of creative teachers who create relationships with the kids. That's what makes us special."
