"It's been the honor of my life to be your teacher." When Ashley Wilkins gets to the microphone, she credits her students, colleagues and former English teacher Michelle Wolfe, a 2021 Milken Educator Award recipient. "I am the first person in my immediate family to graduate from college," she told them. "And I would not be here without the love and support of my family. My granddad always said, 'Get your education, that's the only thing they can't take from you.'"
