The teacher winning this Award will not only make history as the 3,000th Award recipient but also gets a cash prize. To reveal the amount of the Award, students hold up cards with numbers on them, one at a time. When Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley shows the audience the third zero, everyone is shocked: That makes $25,000!
