New 2015-16 North Carolina Milken Educator Award winner Eric Patin shares a quiet moment in his classroom after the ceremony with Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley. Patin proudly tells Foley about his work with AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), a program that works to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college.
