But there's a surprise guest waiting in the wings with an unforgettable honor for one outstanding educator! Students and colleagues raise the roof with their cheers when Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken presents 11th grade social studies teacher Alex Lahasky with a Milken Educator Award and $25,000, changing the educator's career forever. After today's exciting celebration, Lahasky is the 2,977th Milken Educator recognized on the journey to our 3,000th Milken Award announcement.
