Roseann Maurantonio (center) is already a star teacher at Rosendale Elementary. And if history has taught us anything, that Milken Educator Awards envelope with her name on it indicates that her star is about to rise to a higher orbit. Just ask Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley (right)—a 1994 recipient from Indiana—and New York Commissioner of Education Dr. John B. King, Jr. (left), both of whom are here to honor Roseann today.
