English teacher and head baseball coach Christopher Laughland has been hitting it out of the park for students and colleagues at Walden Grove High School. So—with some help from President and CEO of the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching Dr. Gary Stark (AR '01), State Superintendent John Huppenthal and District Superintendent Dr. Manuel Valenzuela (AZ '98)—the Milken Educator Awards threw him a $25,000 curve ball he never saw coming!
