With colleagues and family members gathered in her classroom at Union 8th Grade Center in Broken Arrow, Tamarah Danzy (OK '21) receives her Milken Educator Award obelisk from veteran Milken Educator Hailey Couch (OK '18). The obelisk is in the hands of Tamarah's father, whom she cited as her inspiration for becoming a teacher at her surprise notification.
