Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, tells the assembly that outstanding educators deserve to be celebrated, just like top actors, musicians and athletes. One of the very best educators in the country, she says, is right here in this room—and is about to receive an important national honor. "Greatness in education should be recognized too," she says.
