Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, tells the crowd that while teachers have the most important job in our society, they don't get enough recognition for their work. More than three decades ago, the Milken Family Foundation set out to change that. Every year the foundation travels across the country to find the best teachers and principals—and this year, one of those outstanding educators is right here at Bains Elementary!
