STEM Teacher Peter Arseneault Is CT Milken Educator Award Winner

As Bacon Academy's students and staff rise to their feet for a standing ovation, STEM teacher Peter Arseneault makes his way to the front of the gym to accept Connecticut's 2015-16 Milken Educator Award from Education Commissioner Dr. Dianna R. Wentzell and Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley. Arseneault focuses on project-based technology education: His students build solar heaters, design energy-generating panels out of recycled materials, and maintain teachers' and community members' cars.
