KY Milken Educators Welcome Shane Baker

 

 

Third grade teacher Shane Baker can hardly believe his ears: Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley called his name as the recipient of a Kentucky Milken Educator Award and $25,000 for his impact at Jennings Creek Elementary! Baker is known throughout his school and district as an early adopter of new technology in the classroom. His creative instructional methods introduce opportunities for students to explore digital tools in a fun, project-based learning setting that supports all of his students.
