Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Diane Douglas congratulates the staff and students of Friendly House Academia del Pueblo Elementary Charter School for their academic achievements before introducing special guest Milken Family Foundation Chairman and Co-Founder Lowell Milken who's about to give one unsuspecting educator a very public "thank you" for outstanding work in teaching.
"Lowell's efforts have impacted 200,000 teachers and 2.5 million students," said Douglas. "That is phenomenal, sir! Thank you for that."
