Bellefontaine's Ryan Gilbert Receives Ohio Milken Educator Award

 

 

It's Ryan Gilbert's turn to address the students, colleagues, dignitaries and media who just witnessed his Milken Educator Award surprise.

"I really need to thank all of you because there are a lot of times when education feels thankless, but one of the things I'm grateful for is it never feels thankless here," he says. "And I mean that from the bottom of my heart. To every student that's in my classroom, you make me feel appreciated. I like starting the day with you first period. And I like ending the day with you eighth."
