Rachel Kinsaul gives Stephanie Bishop, vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, a tour of the school greenhouse, with Morgan County High School Principal Melanie Sigler and FFA students. Kinsaul brings real-world experiences into the classroom – from farm visits to FFA competitions! Her creative approach inspires students, especially with projects like the Floral Arrangement of the Month, where students arrange and deliver a monthly floral arrangement to those with a paid subscription – partnering with the school’s special education students while also raising funds for the agriculture program. Kinsaul’s influence goes beyond the classroom, mentoring educators, spearheading fundraising for The Morgan Agricultural Learning Lab in order to build a barn for FFA students, and fostering community connections through Sophomore Service Day, where she engages students in a number of community service projects each year.
