Knoxville's Paula Franklin Wins TN Milken Award

 

 

Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, congratulates Paula Franklin on her Milken Educator Award. The Awards team has landed at West High once before, when social studies teacher Louis Gallo won the same Award in 2003. "With more than three million teachers in America, it's very rare that we will return to a school twice, as you can imagine," says Milken. "But you have so many fine teachers who help you perform. ... Thank you, Paula, on behalf of all the citizens of Knox County and America."
