Michelle Iwasaki still can't believe that today's assembly was organized especially to honor her! The Milken Educator Award recipient and former classroom teacher serves as academic coach for Kalihi Kai Elementary's kindergarten, first and fifth grades. She also mentors and trains educators, building the capacity of others in the profession by broadening their understanding and strengthening their practice.
