Malaree Shields Wins RI Milken Award

Back in the classroom, Malaree Shields (RI '23) celebrates today's surprise assembly with her North Kingstown High School students. Shields is known for her engaging hands-on lessons that get students excited about engineering and science. In one project, students build and program robots to navigate an obstacle course, using inquiry and deductive reasoning to test and revise their machines.
