Katie Lanter Joins IN Milken Educators

There’s a special all-school assembly happening this morning at South Ripley Junior High School. Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, presents the surprise of a lifetime: A $25,000 Milken Educator Award for seventh grade reading and English language arts teacher Katie Lanter. Indiana Secretary of Education Dr. Katie Jenner joined in the celebration along with cheering educators, students, dignitaries and media.
