Back in the classroom after her surprise Milken Educator Award notification, kindergarten teacher Katherine Shaw and Milken Family Foundation Chairman and Co-Founder Lowell Milken talk with Shaw's students about what they are learning in math. Shaw says that Sister Eva, one of her own favorite teachers when she was young, taught her songs to help her remember her math facts.
