Jon Pickinpaugh Joins NE Milken Educator Family

The special guest from the West Coast is Greg Gallagher, senior program administrator for the Milken Family Foundation. He tells the assembly that 30 years ago, the foundation created the Milken Educator Awards to honor outstanding teachers and principals across the country. Educators, he says, have the most important job in the country because they prepare students for their futures: "One teacher can positively impact thousands of young lives."
