Dale Henderson, the superintendent of Iberia Parish School District, congratulates the students and staff at Jeanerette Elementary on the school's academic achievements. When the school received an F rating, he says, "everyone accepted the challenge to do whatever was necessary to improve the school." Jeanerette Elementary raised its grade to a B in one year, has maintained that B, and continues to improve.
