Brooke Powers Joins KY Milken Educator Family

There's a buzz in the gym at Beaumont Middle School. Kentucky Commissioner of Education Dr. Stephen L. Pruitt is the special guest at today's all-school assembly. But wait—there's another special guest waiting in the wings. When Pruitt introduces Greg Gallagher, senior program administrator for the Milken Family Foundation, and they surprise math teacher Brooke Powers with Kentucky's 2017-18 Milken Educator Award, the teacher's career is forever changed.
