Biotech Teacher Nicki Derryberry Wins AZ Milken Award

Nicki Derryberry teaches her biotechnology students at Red Mountain High School how to solve scientific mysteries, but she's got no clue she's the reason for the morning assembly and Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Diane Douglas's visit. The mystery is solved when Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, names Derryberry a winner of Arizona's 2015-16 Milken Educator Award.
