VA Milken Educators Welcome Anna Drew

 

Back in the classroom, Anna Drew resumes teaching science. Drew creates a classroom of fun and creativity with hands-on experiments like extracting DNA from fresh fruit, and her annual March Mammal Madness project where students research mammals and pit them against each other in a battle. Her commitment to each student's success shines through personalized goal-setting and tailored teaching, ensuring every child’s growth. Beyond the classroom, Drew mentors new teachers, coaches sports, and volunteers with the local Boys and Girls Club, all while building lasting connections with her students that extend far beyond graduation.
