Allison Felton, You're MD's Milken Educator!
Allison Felton (MD '17) | Annapolis High School | Annapolis, MD | Jan 24, 2018Annapolis High School is one of Maryland's Wellness Schools of Distinction, and that's something to celebrate. Dignitaries are on hand for an all-school assembly, including Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and State Superintendent of Schools Dr. Karen B. Salmon. But there's another reason for the festivities, which comes to light when special guest Mike Milken, co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, surprises math teacher Allison Felton with Maryland's 2017-18 Milken Educator Award and a giant $25,000 check.
