Ainsley VanBuskirk Receives North Carolina Milken Award

 

Ainsley VanBuskirk enjoys a quiet moment after her Milken Educator Award surprise. An advocate for every child, VanBuskirk creates a tailored dual-language curriculum to accommodate various learning styles while taking special care to provide equitable opportunities to succeed. A National Board Certified teacher, she has presented at district and state events, including the Accelerate, Invigorate, Motivate (AIM) state conference on dual language and global initiatives. VanBuskirk is frequently invited to conduct professional development workshops for colleagues where she shares best practices, instructional strategies, and technology integration techniques.
