The Milken Educator Award also includes a cash prize. But how much? One digit at a time, students hold up cards representing the amount of the Award. When Alabama State Superintendent of Education Dr. Eric Mackey holds up a third zero, the room starts to buzz—$25,000 is a lot of money!
