Leslie Sullivan wipes away tears as Palmetto Scholars Academy Principal Tim Gott congratulates her on her Milken Educator Award. Palmetto Scholars Academy is in its 10th year; Sullivan has been there for seven and has personally taught every member of the school’s first five graduating classes.
