Louisiana First Lady Donna Edwards congratulates Stephanie Whetstone (center) on her Milken Educator Award, as Dr. Jane Foley (right), senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, listens with pride. "I was an elementary music teacher, so visiting great schools like Bains always brings back great memories," says the First Lady. "None of us here will ever forget this memory that was made here today. ... Bains is very fortunate to have Ms. Whetstone and so many other wonderful teachers here. Louisiana will always need talented and dedicated educators."
