Surrounded by colleagues and visiting dignitaries, Heidi Albin calls her husband John to share the good news about her Milken Award and the $25,000 that comes with it. A teacher of applied technology at Maize High School, John already knew about his wife's Award—he saw it on Twitter shortly after her name was announced.
