Bronx's Aja Brown Wins NY Milken Award

When she reaches the front of the assembly, newly minted Milken Educator Aja Brown gets a huge congratulatory hug from Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards. Brown is known as a chameleon in the classroom, adjusting her teaching strategies daily to get the most out of her students.
