Alexis King, Welcome to the Milken Educator Family!

 

 

Visitors from AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), an organization dedicated to closing the achievement gap by preparing all students for college and other post-secondary opportunities, snap a selfie with Milken Educator Award recipient Alexis King. As an AVID teacher, King helps students integrate and succeed in difficult classes; she is part of the AVID site team and supports other teachers as they work together to create an atmosphere conducive to the AVID requirements.
