Colleagues at Barrera Elementary shower master teacher Amber Simpson with congratulations at her surprise Milken Educator Award notification. As a TAP Master Teacher, Amber Simpson doesn’t teach just one class at Barrera Veterans Elementary School—she works with teachers of students from kindergarten through fourth grade to drive instruction for the entire building.
