Oklahoma’s Amanda Raupe Wins Milken Award

IT'S A KLEENEX MOMENT! First-grade teacher Amanda Raupe wipes away tears of happiness at her surprise Milken Educator Award notification. Raupe is her grade-level team leader and considered a vital contributor to turning Hilldale around. The school's student achievement progress in reading and math over time recently earned it the designation of Oklahoma Reward School and raised its state report card grade from a D in 2012 to a B in 2015.
Kleenex brand has a long history of supporting educators and is excited to expand its efforts by supporting the Milken Educator Awards. A brand partnership at 2016-2017 events will ensure honorees are cared for during every #KleenexMoment.
